VAN
ALPERT
Van Alpert started as a graffiti writer in Miami before premiering his first solo Art Exhibition in Art Basel 2016. He briefly attended the Art Center in Pasadena on scholarship for Advertising, and studied filmmaking in Cuba. His experience in visual arts translates in his films, which remain grounded in street culture and carry a signature realism and grit. His renegade style created the first Post Malone break through music video with over 800 million views, along with working with Nike, Redbull and Kanye West. While living in Los Angeles for the last 10 years Van has directed videos totaling almost 1 billion views and his fine artwork continues to develop. Van's feature film directorial debut will be released in 2021, called "Skategoat". A film Van worked on for over 10 years documenting Venice Beach skater Leandre Sanders.
